APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• A MOVE DATA operation on IBM Storage Protect Server for a tape
  volume located in the next storage pool of a colddatacache
  storage pool will fail with message:
  ANR3700E MOVE DATA: The command was not processed because it is
  not valid for cold-data-cache storage pools or for the specified
  
  next storage pools of cold-data-cache storage pools.
  
  That is normal and expected, this restriction is documented in
  the Storage Protect server manual MOVE DATA page:

  But, this restriction should be lifted for the situation where
  the MOVE DATA needs to be performed from tape to tape in the
  same stgpool.
  If the data stays in the same stgpool, then MOVE DATA should be
  allowed.

  platforms
