  • Sample executables introduced with 8.1.0.30
$MQINST/opt/mqm/samp/bin/amqbsig
$MQINST/opt/mqm/samp/bin/amqbsigc
$MQINST/opt/mqm/samp/bin/G/amqbsig
$MQINST/opt/mqm/samp/bin/G/amqbsigc
are deployed by the installer without the correct
permissions (OSS+Guardian) and file code (Guardian).

Problem conclusion


    

  • The product has been changed to set proper permissions and
file codes for the listed files above.

The fix is targeted for delivery in maintenance level 8.1.0.35
of IBM MQ for HPE NonStop 8.1.

Temporary fix


    

  • Change permissions manually as installation owner like:
OSS> chmod 755 $MQINST/opt/mqm/samp/bin/amqbsig
OSS> chmod 755 $MQINST/opt/mqm/samp/bin/amqbsigc

In installation subvolume:
TACL> FUP ALTER AMQBSIG, code 500
TACL> FUP SECURE AMQBSIG,"NCNC"
TACL> FUP ALTER AMQBSIGC, code 500
TACL> FUP SECURE AMQBSIGC,"NCNC"
