Error description

  • The ODBC driver package shipped with App Connect Enterprise is
missing the fips library. This library is needed for fips
compliance.

USERS AFFECTED:
All users off App Connect Enterprise on Linux-x86, AIX or
Windows, who use the ODBC drivers shipped in App Connect
Enterprise and need to be FIPS140-2 compliant.


Platforms affected:
AIX, LinuxX64

PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
The FIPS140-2 compliace libraries for the ODBC drivers were not
being shipped with App Connect Enterprise.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • The FIPS140-2 compliance libraries for the ODBC drivers have
been added to the App Connect Enterprise installation for
Linux-x86, AIX and Windows.

The fix is targeted for delivery in the following PTFs:
