USERS AFFECTED:
All users of IBM Integration Bus V10.1 and App Connect
Enterprise V12 who access a Microsoft SQL Server azure database
using Active Directory for authentication.


Platforms affected:
AIX, Linux on Power platform, Linux on x86-64 platform, Linux on
zSeries platform

PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
When trying to access a Microsoft SQL Server azure database
using Active Directory for authentication from Linux or AIX, the
following error messages are reported by the SQL Server ODBC
driver
[unixODBC][IBM][ODBC SQL Server Wire Protocol driver]General
error.WSDL security policies invalid or not found.
[unixODBC][IBM][ODBC SQL Server Wire Protocol driver]Failed to
authenticate the user '<USER_NAME>' in Active Directory.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • An update version of the SQL Server ODBC driver that is included
in IBM Integration Bus and App Connect Enterprise is now
provided that resolves this issue.
