IT47249: PCOMM V15.0.2 (64-BIT) - ENVIRONMENT VARIABLE DOESN'T WORK FOR AUTO-START MACROS

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• The user is using environment variables %homeshare% in their WS
  session profiles as directory references to their keyboard
  mapping file, barfile and auto-start macro.
  
  When they launch their session profile, their keyboard mapping
  file and barfile loads as expected, but their auto-start macro
  could not be found by PCOMM even if all of their macro files are
  in the same specified variable path directory.
  

Local fix

Problem summary

• 1. Open any session
  2. Click on settings menu
  3. Select macro/script option
  4. Macro/script dialog box is displayed
  5. Give the %onedrive% path in macro /script directory edit box
  6. Save the session
  7. WS file path is reflected but the macros are not loaded from
  %onedrive% location.
  

Problem conclusion

• Code changes have been made to load the macros from the actual
  auto-start macro directory with environment variables.
