APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • DataPower had retry logic of 3 instant retries, no delay, upon
    repeated MQ Reason Code 2500 we fail with "The (xyz) request
    failed (2500)".  The new logic involves 5 retries with 1 second
    delay when encountering MQ Reason Code 2500.
    

Local fix

Problem summary

  • Increase the retry timeout for the MQ call to allow the
    condition to resolve.
    

Problem conclusion

  • The fix will be in 10.6.0.2 & 10.5.0.14
