IT47082: PCOM: 15.0.2 32BIT PCSPD093 ERROR USING SETPRTTODSKAPPEND METHOD API

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• After migrating from PCOM 14.0.2 32bit to 15.0.2 32bit, an
  application using AutSettingsTypeLibrary dll to control printer
  settings, the SetPrtToDskAppend method in the
  autECLPrinterSettings class sets the print mode but does not set
  the Append file passed in the file name argument.

  Steps to recreate this problem:
  - Create any 5250/3270 PCOM session
  - Go to File -> Print Screen
  - Select printer as Print to Disk
  - Select any PDT file
  - Go to Setup and select Append radio button
  - Browse the file to be appended
  - Click OK
  - Save the PCOM session
  - Launch the saved PCOM session
  - Perform Print Screen operation
  - PCOM shows PCSPD093 - File operation error
  

Problem conclusion

• This problem occurs due to a regression of Print to Disk feature
  enhancement made in PCOM v15.
  .
  Code changes have been made in PCSPD.DLL to handle the Print to
  Disk Append operation.
