Error description

  • After an update in the Progress ODBC driver, the use of an alias
when connecting to an Oracle database would cause an "ORA-03001:
unimplemented feature" in relationship to table alias names.

USERS AFFECTED:
All Users of App Connect Enterprise V12 and IBM Integration Bus
V10.1 on AIX, Windows and Linux, who use table aliases with
Oracle Database using  the ACE supplied Oracle Server Wire
protocol ODBC driver.


Platforms affected:
AIX, Linux on Power platform, Linux on x86-64 platform, Linux on
zSeries platform, Windows on x86-64 platform

PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
The Oracle Server Wire Protocol ODBC driver causes error
messages "ORA-03001: unimplemented feature" in relationship to
table alias names.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • App Connect Enterprise V12 and IBM Integration Bus V10.1 have
been updated with a new version of the Oracle Server Wire
Protocol ODBC driver that no longer causes the error message.

The fix is targeted for delivery in the following PTFs:
