IT46658: PCOMM V14.0.2 (32BIT) HEBREW - "RTL" OPTION FOR BIDI COPY/PASTE IS NOT WORKING

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• The user uses the "RTL" option under Settings > Edit > Bidi
  options tab on a Hebrew Bidi PCOMM setup.
  
  But when they copy a Hebrew sentence from the PCOMM screen and
  paste it on a Notepad, the Hebrew sentence is not getting pasted
  on a RTL (right-to-left) direction.
  
  In addition, when they do a File > Save on the PCOMM session,
  the configuration for "RTL" option is NOT getting saved in the
  PCOMM session (*.ws) file every time they close and relaunch
  PCOMM.

  Steps to recreate the problem 1:
  Below are the steps:
  - Create any 3270 PCOMM session
  - Login to 3270 ISPF editor using 3270 Credential.
  - Enter 3.4 in the option menu (Dataset)
  - Enter "username".* in Dsname level (enter your username)
  - enter "e" in-front of any dataset name
  - Press Enter
  - Insert some new line in ISPF editor (using i999)
  - Type some long Hebrew Sentence in the editor.
  - Copy the Hebrew text and paste it in the Notepad.
  - The text in the notepad is not pasted as per RTL.
  
  Steps to recreate the problem 2:
  Below are the steps:
  - Create any 3270 PCOMM session
  - Go to PCOMM Setting -> Edit options -> Bidi Options
  - Select RTL radio button.
  - Save the PCOMM session
  - RTL button configuration is not saved in the session.
  

Problem conclusion

• Code Changes has been done in PCSEDIT module to save the RTL
  configuration along with the copy/paste of Hebrew sentence.
