IT46470: MISSING EXPLANATORY MESSAGES IN JOB LOG FOR MAINTENANCE JOB ENDING IN STATUS PARTIAL

APAR status

• Closed as Permanent restriction.

Error description

• Starting with version 10.1.16.2, the IBM Storage Protect Plus
  Maintenance job can end with a status PARTIAL without an info
  or warning message about the reason.
  This happens when the maintenance task to clean up replica
  snapshots cannot expire the last available replica snapshot
  because it is needed for future incremental replication.
  In the job log the above reason is not shown.
  In the corresponding virgo log, the reason is present.
  For example :

Problem conclusion

• It is a permanent limitation of the product. The customer can
  check the Virgo logs for more information. Virgo log path is
  "/opt/virgo/serviceability/logs" .
