APAR status

Error description

  • A successful tier job may skip to tier grouped objects if they
    belong to retention sets even though all the objects include
    retention sets were copied successful.
    
    Support/Customer diagnostics:
    
    
    1: A tier job was defined to tier everything from cont1 pool to
    pool2.  After a successful copy job, the subsequent tier job can
    complete successful, but data remains in source pool: cont1:

    completed. Data was tiered from storage pool cont1  to  storage
    pool pool2.
