IT46076: CANNOT SAVE CHANGES TO RANSOMWARE THREAT DETECTION FOR SOME STORAGE SYSTEMS

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• Attempting to save changes in the Ransomware Threat Detection
  panel throws the following error:
  
  Unable to save data for device(s) <list of 1 more more devices>.
  Please try after sometime.
  
  This error occurs when saving for a single device or updating
  multiple at the same time.  If making changes to multiple at a
  time, the ones that cannot be saved will be listed in the error.
  The rest of the changes will be saved.
  
  The devices that cannot be saved are missing a device level
  alert definition for Potential Ransomware Detected Volume that
  should have automatically been created.
  
  Note: Prior to the April 2024 Storage Insights update, the save
  button was not enabled for the affected devices rather than
  encountering the error listed above.
