IT45983: MISLEADING 'ANR2886E STORAGE RULE <NAME> WAS NOT FOUND' ON REPLICATION STORAGE RULE START WHILE IT IS CORRECTLY DEFINED.

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• The IBM Spectrum Protect Server replication rule feature was
  introduced in version 8.1.13.
  
  When running the 'start stgrule' command for an already defined
  stgrule, it gives below error:
  >start stgrule stgrulexx
  ANR2886E Storage rule stgrulexx was not found.
  ANS8001I Return code 11.
  
  A trace with flags ADM SC will display messages similar to:
  ..[admutil.c][13205][AdmLockNode]:Acquiring lock (sLock) on node
  Node_Group.
  ..[admutil.c][15215][AdmUnlockTxnNode]:Releasing ADM node lock
  for node Node_Group.
  ..[scclass.c][8162][ScGetStorageRuleInfo]:exit: rc 1116.
  ..[sctier.c][3090][scFreeStgRuleInfoP]:enter: stgRuleInfoP

  was not found.~
  
  The above 'rc 1116' means that the Node_Group specified in the
  subrule does not exist as a node, or either does not exist as a
  node group or if it does exist as a node group then that node
  group is empty.

• Correct the Node_Group specified in the subrule.
