Error description

• Archive objects past the applied retention period can be seen
  unexpectedly still present on a replication target
  
  IBM Spectrum Protect Server.
  
  For example a 7 year (2595 days) archive retention is set and
  the affected node query displays it has not accessed
  
  the server for a longer period :

Problem conclusion

• This APAR is being closed as a permanent restriction.  There are
  no plans to change this behavior.
  This issue is caused by a node in a replication state indicating
  it is the target of a replication but replication is no longer
  running for that node.  To allow these objects to be deleted
  according to the policy settings on the target replication
  server the replication state for this node must be removed.
