IT45447: NATIVE PGP ENCRYPTION OVER TEXTMODE NOT WORKING

APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• NativePGP/textmode encryption of file with LF end-of-line
  characters in local v6.1.2.3. Upon decryption, end-of-line chars
  stayed LF, for windows and Linux file on both the case when
  textmode enable and disable.
  

Local fix

• we have implemented the textmode for nativepgp, textmode
  implementation is working same as gpg.
  if we have b2bi setup on windows system,  so end of line char
  will be CRLF and if b2bi setup on Linxu system then end of line
  char will be LF same as gpg where the GPG software installed
  based on that we get the end of line char with text mode.

Problem conclusion

• Resolution Summary:
  The textmode has been implemented for nativepgp, textmode
  implementation is working same as gpg.
  If Sterling B2B Integrator is set up on a Windows system, the
  end of line character is CRLF. If it is set up on a Linxu
  system, the end of line character is LF, same as gpg where the
  GPG software installed based on that we get the end of line char
  with text mode..
