error:

Specify a repository for package IBM Spectrum Protect server
8.1.13.20211119_1944.
 Location: /path/temp/repository
This misleading message occurs because there is not enough free
space in the installation directory.

IBM Spectrum Protect Versions Affected: All IBM Spectrum Protect
Server 8.1.x on all supported platforms

Additional Keywords: TS014683955 update install

Local fix

  • Enlarge the installation filesystem to have at least 7,5 GB free
and retry the update.
