Error description

• A user is trying to turn off the beeping sound of PCOMM when it
  launches, but after issuing the "pcssound /d" command, the
  beeping sound is still ON.

Problem summary

  * All IBM Personal Communications (PCOMM)users.                *
  ****************************************************************
  * PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:                                         *
  * When execute "PCSSOUND.exe /D" command it does not delete    *
  * the sound event labels from the pcomm sound theme in control *
  * panel sound utility. The PComm sound theme entries are not   *
  * deleted from HKCU registry.                                  *
  ****************************************************************
  * RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
  ****************************************************************
  Here are the steps to reproduce the problem,
  
  1. Execute the "PCSSOUND.exe /D" command.
  2. Check the registry location
  Computer\HKEY_CURRENT_USER\AppEvents\Schemes\Apps\PComm
  
  Or,
  
  Open Sound utility from control panel, check the sound theme tab
  for PCOMM sound theme event labels.
  The PCOMM Sound theme entries are not deleted.
  
  3. Launch the PCOMM session you can still hear the beep sound
  for "connection".
  

Problem conclusion

• Code changes have been made to delete the PComm sound theme
  entries from registry.
