APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • Customers migrating to v10 from v5 with client secret in the
query may encounter the following error in their Datapower logs
when calling the API(s) even if the response is a 200OK

The secret of the client 'XXXX' doesn't match.

This is due to a configuration in the AMU tool to maintain v5
compatibility

Local fix

  • Review your API YAML file and if there are app_secret and app_id
security parameters that have x-key-type in them while client_id
and client_secret do not, remove the app_id and app_secret pair
and add the x-key-type parameter to client_id and client_secret.

Problem summary

  • The incorrect log message is now suppressed.
