APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • APAR IT43564 is partially fixed. An SLA is configured to a
non-default primary site, like secondary site. The site
automatic change can still happen when editing the SLA.

Versions affected: IBM Spectrum Protect Plus v10.1.14.1, 10.1.15

Local fix

  • Do not edit the SLA. If SLA must be edited, re-select the
correct site no matter it is displayed as correct one or not
before clicking Save button.

Problem conclusion

  • APAR IT43564 was partially fixed which caused the SLA's to be
configured to a non-default primary site, like secondary site.
The site automatic change happened when editing the SLA.
This problem has been fixed on level 10.1.15.1 and 10.1.16. Now
the sites for SLA will not change when user edits and save the
SLA.
