APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • When GWD restarts in middle of DRR, the DRR flag for extension
deployer may not get cleared. In this scenario we start the DRR
on a heart beat but the GWD process gets restarted before we
received the cloud snapshot. While the apic-gw-service is coming
back up we get the cloud snapshot but since the process had
restarted, DYNAMIC_RECONFIG_PENDING is set back to false and it
causes issues on clearing the DRR flag.

Local fix

  • Try to change the webhook state to online from the APIM side to
re-sync the cloud snapshot with the GW.

Problem summary

  • A DRR Extension Deployer flag might not get cleared during a
Gateway restart.
