APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • Starting with version 10.1.15, the IBM Storage Protect Plus GUI
global preference ?Auto logout (minutes)? is not taken into
account.
Any started GUI user session stays logged in indefinitely being
idle as long as the browser window is kept open.

Problem conclusion

  • A regression was introduced in which the IBM Spectrum Protect
Plus User Interface (UI) did not use the Inactivity Timeout
Global Preference as the basis for timing out a UI user session.
This regression has been resolved, which times out the user
according to the configured Inactivity Timeout Global
Preference.
