Error description

  • A tiering process to a FILE storage pool hangs when one of its
    worker processes show no progress. For example.

    In this example, tier storage pool worker process 8
    shows 0 files/bytes processed. Its parent process 7,
    the tier storage pool summary process, shows no further
    progress for the number of files/bytes.
    
    IBM Spectrum Protect Versions Affected:
    IBM Spectrum Protect server 8.1.13.0 and above on all platforms.
