APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • Customer needs to be able to set the special HTTP/2 ':authority'
header in their client requests to the backend provider.
Currently this is not possible as the 'set variable' assembly
does not accept 'colon' as part of the header name string.

Local fix

  • Customers can use a mpgw as a proxy between the apigw invoke &
the backend; that mpgw can inject the header.

Problem summary

  • Allow the special header to be set.
