APAR status

• Closed as program error.

Error description

• An application with outstanding MQGET_SETSIGNAL request is not
  notified on an EC takeover and might be stuck on reading
  $Receive.
  

Local fix

Problem summary

• Under rare conditions a guardian agent process will run through
  its disconnect handling if the primary EC process dies.
  It will then notify the amqssmgr process as it would when the
  application would have died which would lead to a silent removal
  of the outstanding request.
  

Problem conclusion

• The product has been changed and now handles such situations
  correctly and will send the proper command to the amqssmgr
  process.

  of IBM MQ for HPE NonStop 8.1.
