APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • IBM Spectrum Protect Plus Oracle Backup leaves behind
directories within the /tmp directory of the Oracle server.
The directories are owned by the sppagent account, and each
directory has a command log within it.

Local fix

  • Manual removal of each file can be completed via command line of
the Oracle Server.
rm -f /tmp/########-####-####-####-############

Problem conclusion

  • This problem has been fixed so that /tmp files and directories
created by IBM Spectrum Protect Plus Oracle agent will be
cleaned up.
