Error description
Activity log pruning can be seen to run slowly. Symptoms would include - The fact that the server issues ANR2102I Activity log pruning started: removing entries but never seems to issue corresponding ANR2103I Activity log pruning completed: number of records xxxxx removed. - SHOW THREADS shows AdmLogDeletionThread running for long periods of time or never terminating at all. - QUERY STATUS shows "Activity Log Number of Records" is high, and doesn't seem to decrease, or decreases very slowly. Also the instrumentation for AdmLogDeletionThread highlights further symptoms.
