APAR status

Error description

  • Trying to start a HTTPSConnector with a keystore configured that
    contains zero keys leads to an abend with the following entries
    in the stack as the keystore is processed:
    
    
     Imb::WSBase::TLSUtil::FixP12CertChain(x509_st*,
    stack_st_X509**)
     Imb::EvHtp::ListenerRunThread::setupTLSForEvHtp(Imb::WSBase::T
    LSConfig*,evhtp*)
    
    
    This applies to the HTTPSConnector when embedded in the
    integration server or when using the node wide listener.
    

Local fix

Problem summary

  • ****************************************************************
    USERS AFFECTED:
    All Users of IBM App Connect Enterprise V11 and V12 having flow
    using https endpoint with keystore with no keys.
    
    
    Platforms affected:
    MultiPlatform
    
    ****************************************************************
    PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
    HTTPSConnector abends when a Keystore containing zero keys with
    the following entries in the stack as the Keystore is processed:
    
     Imb::WSBase::TLSUtil::FixP12CertChain(x509_st*,
    stack_st_X509**)
    
    Imb::EvHtp::ListenerRunThread::setupTLSForEvHtp(Imb::WSBase::TLS
    Config*,evhtp*)
    
    This applies to the HTTPSConnector when embedded in the
    Integration Server or when using the Node wide Listener.
    

Problem conclusion

  • The Product has been modified such that, we'll see message ,
    HTTPSConnector fail to start as there are no keys that can be
    used as per expected  correct behavior.
