APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • It is not possible to specify a .broker file when using the
    ibmint command when communicating with an independent
    integration server, as opposed to an integration node, that is
    secured by TLS.
    

Local fix

  • Use other commands, such as mqsideploy, which do allow a .broker
    file to be used to connect to an independent integration server.
    

Problem summary

    USERS AFFECTED:
    All users of the ibmint deploy command in IBM App Connect
    Enterprise v12.
    
    
    Platforms affected:

    PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
    The ibmint deploy command does not let a user specify a .broker
    file to use when connecting to independent integration servers.
    This means that the command cannot deploy artefacts to such
    servers if they are protected by TLS.
    

Problem conclusion

  • The ibmint deploy command now takes an --integration-server-file
    flag which specifies a .broker file to use with the connection
    details for the remote independent integration server. The
    .broker file should follow the usual format for .broker files
    but should not include an integrationNodeName attribute.
