APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • Connection Context refresh is happening sometimes if underlying
connection object is destroyed may be beause DB has been
restarted. Following BIP message BIP2695E, BIP6265E, BIP4362E
can be seen in syslog file

Problem summary

USERS AFFECTED:
All Users of IBM Integration Bus v10.0 and App Connect
Enterprise V11 and V12 using JDBC Drivers to connect to
database.


Platforms affected:
MultiPlatform

PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
While using JDBC Driver to connect to database if the database
is restarted then existing connection becomes stale.. This can
result in BIP4362E  and, BIP2695E messages being logged during
database interaction.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • Stale JDBC connections are now automatically destroyed and
BIP4362 and BIP2695 messages are no longer logged in these
circumstances.
