APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • When local protect is run to multiple copy container pools and
there is also another operation using this pool such as
replication then this problem (ANR3658E) will happen and the
only resolution is to restart the server.

Local fix

  • The circumvention, if the server is set up for local protect
simultaneously to multiple copy container pools, is to not allow
other simultaneous processes for this container pool.
