USERS AFFECTED:
The component of MQ which utilises the embedded ICU4J JAR files
is:

  IBM MQ Managed File Transfer


Platforms affected:
MultiPlatform

PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
IBM MQ is supplied with the ICU4J jar files.

The released version of this utility within the previous IBM MQ
Fix Pack are :

icu4j v68.2
icu4j-charset v68.2
icu4j-localespi v68.2

These are not the most recent versions of the libraries, as
available from Apache Commons

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • The version of ICU4J jars shipped within the IBM MQ Managed File
Transfer component has been updated to the following versions:

icu4j v71.1
icu4j-charset v71.1
icu4j-localespi v71.1

The fix is targeted for delivery in the following PTFs:
