IT41906: PERFORMANCE IMPACTS AND MISSING INFORMATION AFTER THE 3Q22 STORAGE INSIGHTS UPDATE

Error description

• Upon completion of the 3Q 2022 Storage Insights update, several
  customer-impacting behaviors have been observed:
  
  - Slow GUI performance
  
  - Authentication failures: (Your IBMid is valid but you do not
  have access)
  
  - Error page displayed "oops, something went wrong"
  
  - Monitored devices are missing and/or show incomplete
  information.
  
  - TSS:500 messages shown when trying to load various
  panels/views.

  Server/Manager build/release: 5.4.x
  Problem as described by customer: cannot access Storage
  Insights, slow performance, errors shown
  Initial customer impact (low/med/high): high
  

Local fix

• The incomplete information issue will be resolved the next time
  metadata is collected. If you don't want to wait for the next
  scheduled data collection, right-click a device and select
  Data Collection > Restart Data Collection.
