APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • On Windows cloud storage pools with cloud data lock enabled will
    not extend locks on containers that have valid extents. The
    container object in the object storage will have the lock
    expire.
    
    Customer/L2 Diagnostics:
    The QUERY CONTAINER will show containers with valid extents with
    Cloud Lock Expiration dates that have passed. In addition, the
    FFDC log will show entries such as:

    null; Proxy: null) HTTP Status Code: 404
    
    Note: the class names will be those shown above or could be
    slightly different.
    
    
    IBM Spectrum Protect Versions Affected: 8.1.15
    
    Initial Impact: Locks on valid containers will not be extended
    and expire. When a container is not protected by the lock on the
    object storage, the object could be modified or deleted by a
    third party.
