Error description

  • The 9.2 and later redistributable Java client bundles contains
    some files from the JMS Admin tool in the location java/bin
    inside the bundles. These files  should not be there.

Problem summary

    This issue affects users of the redistributable Java client
    bundle 9.x.x.x-IBM-MQC-Redist-Java.zip at versions 9.2 and later

    PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
    The redistributable Java client bundle
    9.x.x.x-IBM-MQC-Redist-Java.zip at versions 9.2 and later
    contained some files from the JMSAdmin tool - this tools should
    not be shipped in this bundle.
    
    These files had been removed at version 9.1 and earlier by APAR
    IT29963, however changes to  the build and packaging of the
    bundle meant that some of the tool's files were shipped again in
    this bundle from version 9.2.
    

Problem conclusion

  • The JMSAdmin tool files are no longer shipped in the
    redistributable Java client bundle
    9.x.x.x-IBM-MQC-Redist-Java.zip - this tool is available in a
    full product install, or in the self-extracting Java client
    9.x.x.x-IBM-MQ-Install-Java-All.jar

    The fix is targeted for delivery in the following PTFs:
