Error description

  • Running mqsi commands causes the growth of trace files in
    $MQSI_WORKPATH/common/log even if trace is disabled. The content
    of these files will contain only the trace header information
    for example:

    Connect Enterprise 11.0.0.14 ===

Local fix

Problem summary

    USERS AFFECTED:
    All users of App Connect Enterprise version 11 and version 12
    using mqsi* commands.
    
    
    Platforms affected:
    MultiPlatform

    PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
    Running mqsi commands causes the growth of trace files in
    $MQSI_WORKPATH/common/log even if trace is disabled. The content
    of these files will contain only the trace header information
    for example:
    
    ====== Starting plaintext trace (process ID 29056 -

    However these files should be appended to if trace is active.
    

Problem conclusion

  • Running mqsi* commands no longer  causes growth in trace files
    in the $MQSI_WORKPATH/common/log directory.
