IT40479: DELETED SLA POLICIES SHOW UP AGAIN AFTER EVERY UPGRADE

APAR status

Error description

  • After any IBM Spectrum Protect Plus environment version upgrade,
    previously deleted SLA policies from the "SLA Policies" list are
    showing up again under the "SLA Policies" list.
    The expected behavior, following the navigation panel > click
    "Manage Protection" > "Policy Overview" > click "delete icon"
    that is associated with the SLA Policy > click "Yes" , should
    keep the associated policy deleted permanently.

Problem conclusion

  • IBM Spectrum Protect Plus update process has been fixed.  The
    deleted canned SLA policies will not be recreated during the
    update operation.
