Error description

  • mqsiextractcomponents does not extract the webadmin ldap
authentication setting and so a user would find that ldap auth
is not configured after migration and that they would need to
set passwords for their defined webusers.

mqsiextractcomponents does also not correctly extract the
authMode setting if there is no entry in the registry in the
backup when the integration node was created before version 10.
This scenario should set the authMode to MQ as the IIB v10 code
    does during startup.,

Problem summary

  • ****************************************************************
    USERS AFFECTED:
All users of App Connect Enterprise V11 and V12 who are
migrating from previous versions and use webadmin ldap
    authentication.

    Platforms affected:
    z/OS, MultiPlatform

    ****************************************************************
    PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
When an integration node configured with webadmin ldap
authentication is migrated to ACE V11 or V12, the
ldapAuthenticationUrl is expected to be migrated to ldapUrl
property under RestAdminListener component of the node; but this
    was not happening.

Also, for the nodes created on versions prior to V10, the
registry in the broker backup won't be having an entry for
authMode setting and hence mqsiextractcomponent fails to set
    authMode to default value 'MQ'.

Problem conclusion

  • Product is modified and the mqsiextractcompoents will migrate
the webadmin authentication details correctly and will set
authMode to MQ for nodes created on the versions prior to V10.
