APAR status

Error description

  • After applying SAP Release note 2246160 on SAP Server, Customer
is facing null pointer exception while running Iterative
Discovery Wizard for SAP Nodes .

Local fix

  • Uninstall SAP Upgrade

Problem summary

USERS AFFECTED:
All users of IBM Integration Bus v10, IBM App Connect Enterprise
v11, or v12 using the iterative discovery wizard in the tookit
with SAP servers that have Sap patch 2246160 applied.


Platforms affected:
Windows on x86 platform, Windows on x86-64 platform, Linux on
x86 platform, Linux on x86-64 platform

PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
Users are seeing NullPointerException in the iterative discovery
wizard when the SAP server has been patched with SAP patch
2246160.

Problem conclusion

  • The iterative discovery wizard no longer shows an exception for
such servers and allows user to configure SAP adapters.
