Error description

  • An IBM Spectrum Protect Plus restore job fails when a VM has
both IDE and SCSI disks, where an IDE disk has the same
controller key as another SCSI disk's controller key.

In the restore job log the following errors can be seen:
ERROR,<timestamp>,CTGGA0939,Failed to register VM <VM_name>.
Exception (com.catalogic.ecx.serviceprovider.common.hypervisor.
exception.HypervisorVMReconfException)reports: (Invalid configur
