APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • After executing a sequence of 'endmqm' and 'strmqm -ns' commands
followed by abrupt end of queue manager will put drbd and
filesystem resources in unmanaged state. Issuing 'strmqm' will
start the queue manager but in background the filesystem and
drbd resources are still unmanaged.

PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
When a 'strmqm -ns' command was followed by an abrupt shutdown
of the queue manager then an error in the strmqm code meant that
filesystem and drbd resources were left unmanaged when the queue
manager was restarted.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • The error has been fixed to ensure that filesystem and DRBD
resources are managed after strmqm.
