APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • When MSSQL abnormally shuts down during load activity from Db2
fedearation client, corresponding federated client application
was not terminated/completed itself.

When tried to force off using db2 "force
application(app_handle)"
It doesn't succeed and still listing in snapshot or in db2 list
utilities output

For example:


db2 "force application(48428)"
DB20000I  The FORCE APPLICATION command completed successfully.
DB21024I  This command is asynchronous and may not be effective
