APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • When the PCOMM-14.0.4-MLS-Patch-64Bit is installed over the PCOM
14.0.0 64Bit base product, the Details view of Session Manager
shows incorrect headings for the columns. Column 1 shows
Download Failed and column 2 shows Unable to download the latest
version. If the full Refresh Pack of 14.0.4 MLS 64Bit is
installed, this problem is not seen.

* PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:                                         *
* When Refresh Pack Update Installer is used to upgrade PCOMM, *
* the session manager shows incorrect column heading in the    *
* detailed view. This issue occurs in version 14.0.3.0 &       *
* 14.0.4.0 Refresh Pack Update Installer.                      *

* RECOMMENDATION:                                              *
****************************************************************
The module PCSFE.EXE was not packaged with Refresh Pack Update
Installer package and hence, the string references point to
incorrect strings. This issue not seen in the Full Refresh Pack
installer package.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • The PCSFE.EXE module is now packaged along with the Refresh Pack
Update Installer.
