USERS AFFECTED:
The component of MQ which utilises the embedded Apache Commons
IO & Net JAR files is:

- IBM MQ Managed File Transfer Edition.


Platforms affected:
MultiPlatform

PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
The IBM MQ v9.2 releases are supplied with the Apache Commons IO
& Net JAR files.

The released versions of these utilities within the previous IBM
MQ Fix Pack on the MQ 9.2 release were:

  Apache Commons IO v2.8.0
  Apache Commons Net v.3.7.2

These are not the most recent versions of the libraries, as
available from Apache Commons.

    



Problem conclusion


    

  • The version of Apache Commons IO & Net shipped with IBM MQ 9.2
LTS has been updated to version 2.11.0 & 3.8.0.
