Error description
When IBM Spectrum Protect Plus is running a copy to cloud or archive, under certain conditions it attempts to delete an old relationship and create a new one. For example if the destination has changed, or if the previous relationship was created but never cataloged due to a failure during the previous job, the next run of the SLA attempts to delete the previous relationship. Another symptom seen is that the vSnap checks against all relationships rather than just the ones involved in the deletion. Local fix
Make sure all jobs have completed and nothing is running before manually deleting the relationship using the following steps. 1) Looking at the above error from the job log, make a note of the relationship ID. It will look like the following: ERROR,Copy Failed ( message :"Failed to delete relationship: Relationship <ID> 2) Run the following command to delete the relationship using the following : For cloud copy relationships: vsnap cloud relationship delete --id <ID> For archive relationships: vsnap archive relationship delete --id <ID> NOTE: If the manual command fails with the same error, examine the list of sessions using the commands: "vsnap cloud session show" or "vsnap archive session show" If there are one or more background sessions still present, allow them to complete before retrying the deletion.
