APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • When using hostname validation for an MQ server, DataPower will
compare the certificate's SAN name to the custom SNI name, even
when SNI is disabled for the server. This can cause validation
errors when the proper DNS names are being passed.

Local fix

Problem summary

  • MQ certificate hostname validation may incorrectly use custom
SNI hostname even if use-custom-sni-hostname was turned off.

Problem conclusion

Temporary fix
