Error description
Missing entries in the "Restore Point Retention" Backups session view of IBM Spectrum Protect Plus UI can be seen. This can happen when the maintenance job runs while the vSnap host on which the data resides is temporarily unresponsive or unreachable. In that case, as the vSnap is unreachable, IBM Spectrum protect Plus can incorrectly mark the recent restore points as stale and expire these from the local catalog. The actual backup data will still remain on the vSnap indefinitely since the IBM Spectrum Protect Plus host catalog would not be aware of its existence anymore. For example a backup job completed successfully on 15 April : SUMMARY,Tue 13 Apr 2021 20:00:00 TRT,,CTGGA2399,Starting job for policy BACKUP with job name vmware_Daily_2 (ID:<SLAId). id -> xxxxx6. IBM Spectrum Protect Plus version 10.1.7-3043.
