APAR status

Error description

  • An APIC customer migrating an API from APIC v5 may encounter the
following error message:

20210810T214353.125Z [apiconnect][0x8100021e][cli][error]
assembly-function-call(...): tid(24344)
gtid(ba508bd1df494c5196e954e49394e6be):  'switch_1.5.0-internal'
 is not valid

This may occur if the API uses the switch_1.5.0 policy.

Local fix

Problem summary


    

  • Customer may receive an error message indicating that the
switch_1.5.0-internal function is not valid. Example:
'switch_1.5.0-internal' is not valid

This problem will only occur for customer's migrating an api
from V5 which references the switch 1.5.0 policy.
The gateway director was failing to add the assembly-function
for switch_1.5.0-internal prior to the assembly-function-call.
