APAR status

  • Closed as program error.

Error description

  • When an integration app (App1) is referencing a static library
(Lib1) which is referencing a Java Project (JavaProject1) then
the Java Compute Node Class of Integration App1 is not able to
use JavaProject1 classes. We get an error that Class can not be
resolved.

Local fix

  • User can reference JavaProject1 in build path of Java Compute
Node Java Project directly.

Problem summary

USERS AFFECTED:
All Users of App Connect Enterprise Toolkit V12 who are trying
to use a Java Project referenced through Library in Java Compute
Node of  an Integration Application.


Platforms affected:
MultiPlatform

PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
When an integration app (App1) is referencing a static library
(Lib1) which is referencing a Java Project (JavaProject1) then
the Java Compute Node Class of Integration App1 is not able to
use JavaProject1 classes. We get an error that Class can not be
resolved.

Problem conclusion

  • Now User can reference Java Project classes in Java Compute Node
class which is referenced via Library in an integration App
(App1). No error will be reported in "Problem" view in toolkit.
