  PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
  When using the MQ Classes for Java/JMS the default value for the
  ApplicationName is obtained from the value of the system
  property "sun.java.command", this value is then parsed to ensure
  that its length is no longer than 28 characters.
  
  In most cases this behaviour correctly provides a meaningful
  value, however it has been seen when using the Liberty
  Application Server this value is "jar".  The issue may also be
  seen if running JAR packaged applications.
  

Problem conclusion

• The MQ classes for Java/JMS has been updated to provide a more
  meaningful default value for the ApplicationName.
