Error description

  • When removing an HA queue manager with the 'sethagrp -e', the
command hung and it had to be manually terminated.

The runmqras taken while the command was hanging shows that the
less command used internally by dspmqerr command was accessing
    the queue manager logs.

    PROBLEM DESCRIPTION:
The current logic in ending the queue manager did not detect a
complete set of processes that were accessing the queue manager
file and so did not attempt to terminate them. This caused a
    hang in sethagrp -e command.

Problem conclusion

  • The code has been modified to correct the detection of processes
    accessing the queue manager filesystem.
